Thanks for that link. That's exactly what I wanted for my camera and phone for hiking. AND...I have dividend points at REI, so I can pick one up today with no cash out of pocket. = )

Hello all! I just received the commuter case and love it! Everything fits snug and feels very sturdy. If anyone has any questions about it, feel free and throw me a question, ill do my best to answer it.

Anyway you can post pictures of it attached to the phone? I really want the defender case but might have to settle for the commuter while I wait for the defender.

Commuter Otterbox was worth waiting for, just wish it had a belt clip, so I may also purchase the Defender when it is available.

Just got my Otterbox Commuter case. It is very sturdy and makes the phone feel very secure. It offers the best protection I have seen so far for the camera. They now have the cases at Sprint stores. Go check them out or get one!

I recently purchased the Commuter case from OtterBox. My initial impression when i took it from the case was kind of a let down just because 35$ for a little plastic. Separate the parts feel kinda flimsy and i started to wonder if it was worth the money.
Now i put the first gel type cover on...nice fit followed by the hard plastic cover...very nice fit. Seeing the sum of its parts assembled into 35$ phone armor to protect my 600$ investment, i started to smile.
This case is great! My two biggest worries before the Commuter was the camera lens and the screen. Now i do use Zagg shield (some like, some dont) but i still dont like sitting it on its screen. I am also sick of putting a piece of scotch tape on my lens when i go to work so i dont scratch it. Back to the case...
The Edges hold the screen about an 1/8" of an inch off the surface and that alone eases my soul. The back does the same thing for the lens and the smooth surface makes it easy to put in and out of your pocket.
Being in the construction industry i always worry about the micro and hdmi ports getting concrete in them. This has been my main reason for returning phones in the past. With the Commuter, no more worries because they have you covered.
In summation i have to say i am now an Otter Box fan and if your in the market for a good quality case for your phone its the way to go.

Still patiently waiting for a change in status on my pre-ordered Defender Case. I'd pick up the Commuter...but I know for a fact that I wouldn't be happy with it knowing that there was an even better case available. Though I did read where somebody walked into a Sprint store with a busted Body Glove case and walked out with the Commuter case for $10. I'd pick one up under those conditions for sure. As far as the Zagg IS goes...I had one from day one with my Moto Q9c, because I wanted the best protection for the screen. However, I found out that if your phone is in your back pocket and you trip and fall backwards onto a big rock...The Zagg IS is the ONLY thing to survive the hit. The phone ended up bent and the screen under the IS was shattered. Since then I've come to know that the only thing that can protect my phone against anything is the $7 a month protection plan...and that won't cover whatever case I'm using. So I need a case that can take care of ITSELF as well as keep me from having to drop $100 for a brandy new spiffy phone, unless I'm dissatisfied with the condition of it and decide to test it's ability to swim.

Got my commuter case today and like it alot. They only thing about the case I don't like is the bottom rubber flap for inputs because it never stays shut. It just folds into the hard plastic which slips out all the time. They should have put some gromets on them so they actually lock in place like the headphone jack.

I cant answer for sure but the quick answer is no. First you have the thickness which is only like 1/8 of an inch but it pushes the charger out of alignment. Second would be the rubber you have to fold out of the way which will lift the phone off the charger. Hope that helps.
