I also MUCH, MUCH prefer the Zagg invisishield over the Otter one included. To me it was worth the extra $7 bones to have Best Buy install it too lol. Those are the biggest PITA! there is imho. I just dont have the patience, or a clean enough environment lol. With 3 kids and 2 dogs, it aint happnin without dust....

Pffft, if I can do it, any random monkey can. I have two dogs who tend to fling slobber and snot everywhere, kids, dust, (spiders), etc., and I can put them on with no problem whatsoever. Unlike dry apply protectors, which I can't get on right (either straight or without something stuck underneath it) to save my life. Wet is easy though cuz you just take it back off, spray and try again. Smiley Even my banana hands can manage it!

Lol. I know, its just one of those things I loath doing! To me, paying someone $7 while I go look at tv's that make me drool is well worth it.

You can check these out.

The integrated screen protector (which can be removed) seems to not be all that great.
But as far as everything else, this case gets great reviews. Sounds like its super rugged.
Shipping also seems a little slow...but so does Otterbox and Ballistic lol. I might give em a shot just to get something on my phone. Not to promote another site, but over on Androidforums, in the Thunderbolt section, there is a review thread on these cases. Most who have gotten them are pleased... might be worth a look for ya.

Merged with the existing topic. Welcome, and please use the search function before posting new threads. Thanks!
I used the search, and read this thread, thank you. I didn't want to post in here because I wasnt trying to discuss screen protectors, the commuter case or everyones opinions on its build quality. All I want to talk about is the RELEASE DATE.

Well, sorry. There is no release date yet unfortunately. There are lots of people in the same boat who wait and wait. Including myself.
That's why I posted the link and options in my above post. Might be an option for you.

Thanks thunder, ill look into it. I was telling my buddy about the defender, so we went to best buy to see If they had it. Well, they had it for his iPhone! So he walked out with his new case, and I still have nothing. I'm pissed! Otterbox please hurry before I destroy my poor thunderbolt

Where's the reviews and ratings? I don't see anything below. I like the case looks but I don't see anything about it. I got one of the Seidio cases right now and the rubberized coating is coming off. Wasn't worth the cash I dropped on it. Interested in this one but would like to see what people's opinions are of it first.

Those trident-cyclops cases look nice. I might order a couple. One black and the other in some other (hard to choose) color!!

I hear the red ones offer the best reception and download speeds. Blue ones are slightly better for scrolling speed and smoothness...toss up... wink
