I have the commuter case. I just hate the idea of paying for a product and discarding part of it. So I'm not getting it. Sell it for a little less without the dumb... belt clip and I'll get it. Otherwise, I'll go for something else. After all there are more options out there. As someone else said, that's the beauty of free enterprise!

LittleZ, its kinda sad. I live in Loveland/Ft Collins. This is where Otterbox originated and home base for the company. I have friends that are best friends with the folks that "invented" the box ( I don't know them or ever met them lol not that any of that matters). I pass two Otterbox places of business daily and hear there is a third under construction as we speak.
Lol. I have searched high and low. Not a one Defender case in this town for Thunderbolt. Its was basically designed as an internet company. And done well at that. I do remember when Otterbox first started showing up, you could ONLY get them via the web. Of course now you can find them in other spots. I am sure it will take a few these cases to start showing up anyplace other than the WWW.
Don't know if its true or not, but I did hear from someone that the new building is for manufacturing. I bet if it is, they will build them here and I will still have to order them and wait for them to ship something from across the nation someplace...

Got my Defender Series case today and this thing is Bad Ass !!! 3 layers of protection and a belt clip included as well... Only concern will be having to take everything off each time I need to use my car mount, but it's a small price to pay  |

Just got my Defender today. Very impressed!, snug fit, very sturdy. Cleaned the screen and case before putting together, no air pockets or wet looking areas.

Omg I received my otterbox I am so happy, got it for christmas. It makes the phone feel even more solid. Love the fact I don't need a screen protector any more. Happy dance over here;)

I found a deal on amazon, two of the commuter series cases for $28.00. Should be delivered this time next week. Already sold the extra to a coworker for $20, can't beat a great case for only $8!  |

Got my defender case in. So far I like it but from my personal opinion I was expecting more from all the reviews but Im still impressed and I only paid 30 bux shipped on amazon so after that being said its worth the 30 bux but I dont think it would have been worth it if I would have had to pay 50.

I'll have to order the commuter case. The one on my phone, well, I just broke the little flap that covers the charging and hdim plugs. So now they are exposed. I really like the fact that I can cover all the holes. I like a modest phone.  Edit: I didn't see that deal in Amazon.  Is it over? |

I have the defender and I like it except that the rubber part has to be rethreaded around it alot. My hubby thinks I'm a geek because I put it in the belt loop holder and will use it while its in there, but I am so clumsy I feel better with it in there.

Otterbox customer service is great. The product is second to none but how they correct issues keeps me coming back.
