My phone was already rooted. Revolve or something

I saw this post, so I thought let me update my rooted phone.

I downlaod all three files.

Myphone HTC SENSATION 4G

PG05IMG.html - install was aborded I tried this was first
Ginger_BreadRock_V3.2_2.11.605.19.zip ----- successful
GBR-V33_-_21160519_710RD.html---- tried third was successful

After that, I tried booting my phone now, is stuck on HTC log mode. It's been over an hour. My phone doesn't on.

I did the factory resty/wide all data.

still no luck..

Please tell me what to do,..... I am really worried

Pull ur battery then replace now hold power and volume down together until it boots into hboot.

Now wait about 10 seconds and hit volume down once to select recovery and press power.

once in recovery, wipe davlik cache and data then reinstall gbr 3.3 and reboot when done.

The other file PG05IMG has to be flashed in hboot. Place the zip file on your SD card, NOT IN A FOLDER, Go into hboot, just like above but dont do anything when hboot loads. When it loads it will see the zip file and ask you if you want to update, say yes by using the volume button. Restart when its done

Hi,

Thank you so much for your reply.

I did what you said.

I have this Installed
-Revolutionary-
PYRAMID PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT-1.17.1111
RADIO-10.14.9035.01_M
eMMC-boot
Jun 2 2011, 22:31:39

I have wiped the davlik cache, data, and all factory setting.

After that I have installed "GBR-V3.3_-_2.11.605.19_710RD" completed successfully. And then I shuted down, rebooted in boot menu by holding down the volume down key and power on button.

It didn't ask me anything to update??

I can't manually update the PG05IMG.

I have putted in my SD card. not in any folder.

Is not reconsing?

what shall I do?

My phone still doesn't turn on. Get stuck on HTC logo screen.
please help

What can I do to turn on the way it was. I haven't made any backup? Sad please please help me out here.

Thanks you very much.

make sure the radio file (PG05IMG.zip) is not named PG05IMG.zip.zip. You cannot fix the phone unless you flash the radio again.

re-download the radio file and try flashing again...

When you reboot with the power & volume down buttons, it should take you to a white screen with different color writing.

it will show revolutionary
s-off and other info
some options on the screen should be

Fastboot
recovery
factory reset
simlock

when you boot up to this screen just wait and then after about 5 -10 seconds, you should see the phone check for an update (green writing) if you put the radio file (PG05IMG.zip) in the right place, (right on the sd card, NO FOLDERS), it should ask you if you want to update and use volume up to say yes..

Hello! Followed your steps and everything worked like a charm! No problems at all and very fast compared to the original root I did. The only thing is I tried to turn on my Mobile Hotspot and it says "If you would like to subscribe to Mobile Hotspot to call ......." Am I doing something wrong or something I didn't do? After I click "OK" it just stays on the hotspot screen and I can't enable the hotspot. Thanks in advance for your help and the update!!

It has this "tethering guard" app thingy that runs in the background that's preventing my hotspot from running. any idea on how to get rid of this?

If you take the tethering guard out, hotspot by verizon will not work. U have to leave it in.

If u want wireless tether, you have to use the one i added not the verizon hotspot.

If you already pay for verizons hotspot, it should work fine. Unless they blocked it till the ota is actually released but i havent seen or heard that they did that.

Here is a video to show you...

Hi, I am running the new 3.3 version and I am seeing a decrease in battery run time, also I am seeing force close errors with the wifi tether. I am thinking to try 3.2. any one else seeing these issues?

Thanks

go into recovery and wipe davlik cache and also fix permissions. This, should solve the force close.

If you didn't fully wipe, it may be causing an issue especially if you had a totally different rom...

As for battery, there is multiple factors that could be causing the battery drain. If you are comparing this to a custom rom, it may have less battery because there is no custom kernal or specific internal battery tweaks.

Observations with V3.3

No issues flashing the ROM or the radios - did both this morning.

Things I've noticed since the flash:

1. I had to remove and re-add the Facebook for HTC Sense account to get the contact photos to load properly in the SMS client - not a big issue, but until I removed and readded that account, all contacts would show the ghost image in the SMS client, even though their FB image would display correctly in the address book.

2. The phone process force closes everytime you put it in Airplane mode. It still goes into airplane mode, and it comes out of airplane mode just fine, so everything seems functional - just the force close. I've already tried fixing permissions in recovery, made no difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated, but it doesn't seem to be affecting the functionality, so it's not a huge issue.

Besides these things, all is well! Keep up the good work, J!

Disregard. Clearing the dalvik cache seemed to clear this issue right up. All is well!
