HTC Thunderbolt buying advice

I am seriously looking at buying a HTC Thunderbolt. But can't decide, should I buy it on near release date or to wait for few weeks. I think it would be good to wait until some personal reviews come out. What do you guys recommend? I keep my eyes out for discount information, so recommendations for good places to buy Thunderbolt are also welcome.

I would buy now. If the Incredible was any sign, those who waited...really had to wait...backorder, etc. I am getting it as soon as I can.

i bought mine going on two weeks ago, and Verizon had to have an employee from another store drive the phone over because they were out of stock. Was it worth waiting almost two hours in the store? Oh god yes.
The TB is my first smart phone(closest i had was an Ipod touch) and i love everything about it......save the battery life.
