Have had the TB for about two weeks and so far have enjoyed the phone. Just a question about the default
"Phone" button on the main screen. When pressed, it displays phone call history and a lot of phone numbers that have probably been called. Tried to get rid of these entries but the "Clear History" doesn't touch them. What am I doing wrong and how do I get rid of these entries??

Just press call history and then when the list comes up, press menu & then select delete all

These phone numbers are not of the "just called" or "received" category. They reside or are displayed in the "#" section of the contact list. I would love to delete them but have not found a way to do so.

What you are seeing is your contacts. If you scroll through it you will see it's your regular contacts under neath the ones starting with '#'. The '#' ones are just displaying first because that's where they fall alphabetically. When you have no history you will see the contacts. If you have history you will see it first then if you continue to scroll down it will go into your contacts. I just deleted my call history and my contacts show up like you are describing. So you did successfully delete your history. I don't know how to change that behavior so that it doesn't show anything though. But at least you know what is going on.

I understand what you are saying. I guess what I need to find out is how to delete these entries in  the contact list.
Thanks.

By poking around, I found that the problem was caused by "corrupted" entries in the contact list. To remove, I touched the "photo" to bring up the entry menu. I could then delete the bad contact entry and clean up the list of contacts. I'm beginning to see that I will learn something new every time I pick up my phone.

Thanks,
Dan
