--A quick tip I have is that the volume rocker zooms the camera/camcorder.

--Also to help with Battery Life you can do these steps exactly: (This is straight from HTC themselves)

1) Turn your device ON (turn off fast boot) and Charge the device for 8 hours or more
2) Unplug the device and Turn the phone OFF and charge for 1 hour
3) Unplug the device Turn ON wait 2 minutes and Turn OFF and charge for another hour,
4) Turn fast boot back on

Your battery life should almost double, we have tested this on our devices and other agents have seen a major difference as well.

--To save some more battery life, you can go into your email account settings and set up peak and non peak times as well as how frequently the phone checks for mail on each account (hours, days of week).

--HTC also has a built in battery widget that will show you percentage. Long press on blank area of screen select widgets then select get more htc widgets and scroll through till you see battery. click on it & download then go back to widgets and select. Now put it on any screen you want. It saves slightly more battery than a separate app and is more accurate.

--Are you experiencing significant battery drain?
It could be because your phone is always searching for LTE. VZW's LTE is new, and not available everywhere. If you're outside of the LTE area, your TBolt will look for 4G. If you know you're out if LTE and are rarely seeing it, you can dial *#*#4636#*#* and select CDMA to manually switch to 3G until you can use your LTE. First try the other battery savers on the site. This is more of a last resort.

--The Thunderbolt has this great feature called Fast Boot.

When activated (Settings>Power>Fast boot) it will allow the phone to boot up in ~10 seconds. It does sacrifice the use of some Market apps, as they need the full boot time (~1 minute).
It's a great little feature; Try it out!

What's yours? Post your tips below...

On the battery deal, is that a one time thing or is that something we do each time we charge it?

Yes this is a 1 time deal. Essentially what you are doing is resetting the memory of the battery and resetting the parameters.

Think of it like this... when you got your phone it had a high school diploma (limited education) doing this sequence will give it a College degree.

In item 4 you mention turn fast boot back on.   But you never mentioned turning it off.  Do you need to turn off fast boot before starting this process?

Thanks,
David

If you don't know what it is, it will already be off.

Okay so I have heard a lot about "bump charging". I was wondering if anyone has done this and could share the results with me.
