today i downloaded the new navigon for android. just released and it was on sale. although not as cheap as copilot. and it defenitly don't have the features or settings that copilot has. the only thing i could see nice about it is the speed limit signs it displays. i read TONS of reviews about it being the best program out there becuase it has a very nice graphical interface. the only graphics i've seen so far is the sun in the sky on top of the screen.
one thing i like about sprint nav is the ability to search for business'es.
google nav, copilot, and navigon require address specifics.
copilot and navigon has the ability for multiple stops. sprint and google don't.
then we have google maps. all it can do is show location. find business'es and plot us there. but no voice. but when i'm lost in the neighborhood. it's the fastest program to load up and show me my location.
one of these days someone will develop the allmighty perfect program that can do everything all 5 programs can do. and a few more features all on one screen.
the govt don't like people speeding. it's always been a govt law for vehicle speedos to be faster then they should be. to keep people from going to fast.
Oliver Stone, is that you? Can you direct me to that law, please? I'd like to read it.
Actually, the government makes a good bit of money when people speed. Thus, speed traps, and accelerated numbers of tickets issued toward the end of the month. Gotta make them quotas.
that's the states and cities. the govt wants people to arrive ALIVE.
that's what was taught to me when i was in college for automotive. who am i to argue with the teacher.
it's a true fact though. you show me one car that actually has an accurate speedo. being a retired mechanic. i've never seen one that wasn't at least 3 miles faster in a 35 zone. 5 miles faster on the freeway.
