We all know skype wasn't included with our beautiful thunderbolts and the skyp apps seem to have issues but there is a temp solution. Myself and JPC (one of our mods) will be testing it and reviewing it here tomorrow but you can try it now.

Download the app Tango from the market and add your friends. You can now video conference on the thunderbolt..

We will add more here tomorrow..

Found out today that Yahoo will switch between cameras and work with a computer as well, not just phones.....

Played with Tango yesterday and made video calls between my wife's Tbolt and mine. It will do in a pinch. Found the audio choppy (can't talk over each other) and sometimes it would cut out. The video would "slice" the other party in half sometimes. However, without Skype, this will do for the kids to see Mommy or Daddy when out of town. Smiley

Tango works great, the audio does get choppy but if you wear a headset its pretty clear.  Wi-fi connection works best for the app, but the 4g works well too.

I have been chatting almost daily with a friend several states over.  She has an Iphone but they connect well, especially if the phones are set still.  I usually just put the kickstand out and do it that way.

Mobile to mobile is great but not sure if it works PC to mobile tho..

I have been using Tango sincve before the Thunderbolt was released .. and it was the first app I installed when I bought my phone.  No problems at all using it on my Thunderbolt with anyone I talk to.  Never even tried or considered Skype, and dont care too when it is available.
