Alright so I have an old de-activated verizon thunderbolt- I still use it basically as a phone w/ VoIP and Wi-Fi access...but I have a sprint account and lost my Evo 4g (funny how things go missing when you are drunk.)

There seems to be much conflicting information out there about flashing the thunderbolt over...I know I will lose LTE and 4g, but that is not much of an issue. I will still need WiFi.

I am not concerned with legalities, but could it be done? police
