Hey guys - OK, it may be here somewhere but after a lot of searching, my eyes hurt. I am trying to use HTCDev.com unlock bootloader they recently released. When I get to the point where I type "fastboot oem get_identifier_token" at the command prompt, I get an error. says something like, " [ERR] Command error !!!" Yes, I have the files they say and programs they say I need downloaded. Yes, phone is connected, etc. I currently have Hboot 1.04.000. I thought it may have something to do with an "old" bootloader. How do I change the bootloader, simply? I literally need Dr. Suess version if it is out there. I have rooted other phones, but for some reason, I am panicked about rooting my TB. Ugh. I wanted a simple process and this seemed like it, until I get the error. Just my luck. Any suggestions? Thanks!

bump.
I've been forum browsing and haven't been able to find much help. I love the idea of "officially" unlocking the bootloader, but it shouldn't be this obnoxious.

Update: I just spoke with the HTC escalations department. Their tools to unlock the bootloader is incompatible with the newest version of hboot. There may be new tools released in the next 2-3 business weeks to fix this, but he is going to get back to me in the next couple days about downgrading hboot. I will post when I get more information.
