Phone running slow - HTC Thunderbolt

I noticed today when I wanted to do a video it would show the screen but when you press record it never started and if you pressed the button again the screen turned blank and that was it..

pressing the home button would have a lag of like 10 seconds and same goes for a few other things that you wanted to do like look at the camera gallery or videos.

Anyone else with this issue? I've tried restarting the phone but that has not helped.

Moved to the rooting section since you are rooted. Which ROM and kernel are you using, and what other mods/addons are you using?

did not try the battery thing yet

I'm running 2.15.00.09.01

and kernel
2.6.32.15

did the battery thing and this phone is lagging big time... takes about 10 seconds to send a message.. can't take any pictures and still can't do video.

Are you even rooted? I was under the impression not.

I used Unrevoked and that was it. but that was awhile ago.. this has just started today with the slowness.
