Found this while going through xda-developers site.

You will notice a big difference in loading speeds (Photos, videos etc) and camcorder recordings of 720p will run smoothly without lags or pauses in recording. As it did to mine after downloading the zip file.

Here is the link explaining about SD Card speedread!

Boot into recovery, flash, reboot.

Hope it helps speed up your sd card as it did with mine!

Here is the original thread...

If you have root explorer installed, open it up and go to:

/sys/devices/virtual/bdi/179:0

long press on read_ahead_kb, select edit, if you see 128 your good to go. If you see 4, then change it to 128.

Rooting has gotten much simpler to one touch root using unrevoked. But you should definatly do your homework and read!
Start here of course..
http://www.htcthunderbolt4g.com/htc-thunderbolt-4g-rooting/about-rooting-read-this-first-before-proceeding/

After reading go to
http://unrevoked.com/

Click on your phone then click on Unrevoked3
-Click on more info and follow directions.

Sorry for bumping but I need to clarify this. I'm considering rooting my TB only because I want to record 720p videos without stutter and with a better frame-rate. When I record videos at 720p, I occasionally experience a half-second stutter and it seems to be recording at around 20 fps. This is all apparent in the playback (on the phone and on the computer). This is quite weird because my dad's old galaxy s could record in 720p without stutters and at 30 fps, and the TB's camera seems much better.

Does this, if it still works, allow me to record 720p videos completely WITHOUT stutters, and with at least 30 fps?

Thanks.

All of these posts were used to test the site. These aren't relevant now.

That build was for the EVO, I'm not sure how it would work for the Bolt. I would say, post on that forum or PM the OP on the thread to find out.
