HTC pushed the 2.3.4 Gingerbread update out on August 4.
Check for software updates. If it isn't showing and you CANNOT
wait then you can call HTC and have them manually push the
update to your ThunderBolt.

HTC can't push anything without going through VZW network...unless you are rooted and manually do it...

I couldn't wait so I called HTC to see if they could push the gingerbread update to my phone and unfortunately they cannot.  They advised me to call verizon wireless, but they also cannot give an actual date if you have not received it yet.  HTC did tell me that has been released and should come to my phone within the next 4-5 days,  a week in a half at most.  I guess carriers send out the updates by lists so the towers don't get overloaded and crash.  Just what i was told, so I guess I'll have to hang in there a little bit longer. Smiley
