I tried many time for this update and I receive an error "Server Unavailable", but now that I went through the posts I think I might pass on the update as I dont see reboots that often (may be 2 time since 2 months)

For ppl like me who get the "Server Unavailable" error, try the following 1. If you have 4G/3G toggle, set you phone to 3G (CDMA Auto PRL) 2. Go to software updates 3. It doesnt even as for " OK, Defer, REJECT" as previously for me 4. Automatically says "downloading firmware" Hope this helps... Looks like on 3G (sometimes 1X ) it will tale a hour or 2 ... Good luck... NR

Just a peeve of mine from the new update: The reboot issue it was meant to fix (an Issue I did not have) was fixed. Because now, it just shuts off. In the week I've had it with the update, It has shut it self off 3 times with nothing to blame - 2 have been on the charger, the other when I went to take it off of sleep mode.
Other then that, It has helped my battery a bit, nothing too significant.

I'm just too new in this game to know how to root and stuff (gona stay away from that!) My update just stopped as I has juice defender installed and it did shut the data down after few minutes newayz... will probably do this update on my way home ... NR

I thought the update just came out this weekend, how have you had it for over a week?

I haven't gotten it yet either. I figure it will come when it comes.

I just got the update yesterday... some things I noticed... 1. 3G to 4G switch was smoother with limited drop in data 2. 3G is now BIG as JPC pointed out 3. Somehow phone seems more faster (scrolls, screens, games, etc) 4. GPS clock under 1 min (never seen that before), well i installed GPS status dont know if that caused it? 5. I never had problems with reboots (cant comment) 6. I like the new version app (I use Google Voice for texting and it helps me track is i'm using text vs GV also minutes used)
Overall not as bad as i thought at one time...

Have been having constant SD card unmount issues on my thunderbolt. Everytime I need to store something it unmounts. How can I get this repaired.

Try taking out sd card, back it up and format it, then do a restart let it boot all the way up and advise that there is no sd card. Then shut off, put in sd card and restart...
