Will also feature better GPS, Skype video & Google Video



June 30 is the rumored date for the software push.  Here's the rundown:

Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread.
Google Talk video chat (making it only the third phone to get it)
Skype video (at long last)
Sense 2.1
Enhanced aGPS
Amazon Appstore
Download Manager
Verizon Phone Finder

Thought u guys said gingerbread update june 30....well were the hell is it? an how come  this sh*t never comes out when they say it is....stupid!

I think Jrocker was pretty clear on other posts in this forum that it was delayed with no estimated ETA. It is frustrating, just hang in there.

Yea. The gb was delayed until ?.

They do have a maintenance update coming but again not gb and no new eta yet.

Im waiting too..

I've been watching the software update page for the thunderbolt on vzw's website like a hawk, and within the last couple of hours, they've dropped the date for May 2011. The PDF's still point to the MR1 info, though.
