I live in a 4G area and have never really had a problem with 4G other than when the towers went down a couple months ago.
All of a sudden yesterdAY I started having a lot of trouble connecting to the 4G  and now it just refuses to connect to it. 3g works fine, 1x is also. I've tried the LTE on off app, restarting, and everything else. I talked to tech support Nd they were no help at aLl.

Anyone have any idea?

Icon comes up,.but won't download or.upload anything at all.

I don't have any suggestions, however, this has happened to me twice and within a day I was back to 4G.

Sounds like a bad sim card. Have you tried:

power off,
remove sim card,
power back on fully without sim card
then power off
put sim card back in and power on again

If not, go to a verizon store for a new sim card..

I have heard rumors of a possible outage that started last night and may be continuing into today. I would contact VZW first before heading anywhere. Not sure if outage is still going on and/or exactly where it is still out. I believe that East Coast was hit particularly hard....?

There was an outage here in Northern Wisconsin last night. I drank way too much and out I went. HaHa. Felt pretty good this morning though.
