HTC Sync port ADR6400L not responding

Hey guys I've been TRYING to sync up with HTC Sync but for some unapparent reason the program refuses to recognize my phone.

I DL'd HTC sync 3.0.5511 which ofcourse is the latest version. I've uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times on my PC and still to no avail.

USB Debugging is checked
Connect to PC is set to HTC sync

The only thing that happens when I plug in my phone is the auto play on windows asks me to install drivers but when i do so it takes me to VZW's website to dowload vzw media manager...which obviously is not what i want. I've searched and searched other forums and I havent found any definitive answers to this.

Please help =(

Ok, does the pc see the phone in general?

are u picking the HTC sync option on the phone right after its plugged in then opening HTC sync program?

What windows or mac o/s are you using?

SADLY the one thing I didn't think of doing solved my problem. I just had to reset.

But for anyone else viewing this with the same problem just assure that USB Debugging is switched on and connect to PC is set to HTC Sync

I'm also having a problem getting the HTC Sync software to recognize my phone. I can't find a driver for my HTC Thunderbolt for Windows 7 x64. I'm sure installing the correct driver will solve this.

Does anybody know where I can find a driver for my HTC Thunderbolt for Windows 7 x64?
