I flashed the MR2 update on Tuesday evening.  It's been a MAJOR improvement.  Better battery life and NO REBOOTS.  However, I've run into a snag.  It seems that the market is now not showing me a LOT of apps.  If I try the online market, the apps will show, but they say they aren't compatible with my device.
I'm not rooted and running stock with the MR2 update.

Has anyone else here had this problem?  Over at XDA, there are a couple of threads, but no solutions have been presented.

The mr2 update has not officially been released so the code for the market has not been updated by verizon/google yet. Once the mr2 goes live officially by verizon, the market code will be updated for the rom to see all apps properly..

Thanks for the info, Jrocker.  You are always so helpful.   Cool
I've just never run into this before, even when I was flashing "unofficial" ROMs to the Eris.  However, I think most of the ROMs I flashed then were CM based, so that might have been the difference.  I contacted Google regarding the issue.
Would I do better to downgrade?  Is it possible to flash back to pre-MR1 status?  I was getting way too many reboots on MR1.  With MR2, it's been great, except for this new issue.

I sure hope VZW either officially releases MR2, or Gingerbread soon (since the said Q2 which ends on June 30).

 wink

Are you rooted or stock?

Im running MR2 with 2.5 radio and rooted.  I see all the market apps. I did a full clean install with MR2.

What you can try if you havent, go to menu-applications-market and click force stop, then clear data. Then go back into the market to se if that fixes it. I also here there is a market fix app as well, I havent checked into yet though. Im pretty sure its available over at xda

I am stock, non-rooted.  I will search for a market fix.  I did clear data/cache last night, but didn't force stop.  I am not opposed to rooting, but I'm not comfortable with doing it on my Mac.  ;-)
I'm also wanting to wait for OTA Gingerbread before I root...
Might go ahead and do it, though.
