Problems with exchange sync

I am trying to get Exchange sync to work on my Thunderbolt. It keeps giving me an Authentication error say user name or password is invalid. I have checked it several times and they are correct. I ran this on my Palm pre with no problems. Anybody have any advice for me

To setup an exchange account, you have to do so under manual setup.

have done that already got the info from my it guy for server address not working. please help

Over 20 time i am going to get it qwrong everytime. no spelling is correct

Edit: used the touchdown app and it worked perfectly, does not make sense.

Sometimes folks also hit the space bar right after typing in a user name or password into a field. A space, in many cases, is counted as a "character" as well. I found this out the hard way.

For the longest time, I couldn't get Exchange Active Sync to work with the default mail client on my Thunderbolt. Always got "unable to create account". I learned that there was some kind of issue with it but the folks at MS were working on establishing support for the phone. Finally, last week, I decided to try it again (last time I attempted was quite some time ago) and viola! It worked! NOW, I have my email via Outlook/Hotmail synced between my iPad (Apple IOS) and my Thunderbolt (Android). How cool is that??
